There is so much going on in my life right now, I barely have time to just sit and write. It's that time in our life when we know retirement is right around the corner. The days are slipping by and I am trying to hold onto them with both hands but I know it is inevitable and we will be moving on. We've lived at the beach for the last twenty years. We look back over our life's and the days we thought would never end slowly pass by. I guess it time to exhale. My husband has been a firefighter for 35. That's a long time and he's not as young as he use to be. He loves his job and I can tell it is really hard for him to retire. Although I do think he silently will be relief. I am so proud of him. We are going to retire in Florida. We love Maine, the weather is just to cold for us here. So we are off to sunny Florida to join all the other snowbirds. We will sip
Pina Colada's and dance on the boardwalk, and go for the two for one dinner specials and talk for hours to all our wonderful friends, about our wonderful grandchildren. We will play the penny slots. We will sit by the pool and argue endlessly, why our condo association needs a another fountain. What else is there to do. I love my condo association. They are the best. I wouldn't trade them for anyone. But as far as my love for VINTAGE. I will always love my VINTAGE roots. I'm so excited because now I can search for Florida vintage.
