Angels Wings by Arlene Jenkins Up on the hills of evergreen, a little princess earn her wings. She bowed her head as the sky turn red and was crowned with the knowledge she longed to possess. Her struggles were hard but she passed her test. A soft silken web of pure delight to satisfy her hungry appetite. She whispers softly words of wisdom, to only the ears that are eager to listen, Angels choir sent from up above Seranade her with words of ancient love. She passes by a robin's nest singing praises of heaven's test. She walks past the eyes that brought her down, softlt whispering you couldn't see my crown. But for once the little Princess said no more, then flew on up to heaven's door. The angels welcome the little princess home and crowned her a queen up on his thrown. The crown was made of light and love that could only be seen from up above. Now she's an angel with wings to fly, she has no need for magic carpet ride. She smiles as she passes by the tiny dragons that made her cry.

Thankyou for coming into my life and guiding me through my darkest night. Thank you for teaching me my hardest lessons in my time of need and my darkest depression. I've been enlighten this I know It was an angel that told me so. Through all the pain and suffering she came to me and set me free. I hope the whole world can see, what she brought was a message of light and blessed me with a new inner sight. I see the whole world differently, a much broader view is inside of me. I thank her again for coming into my life and guiding me through my darkest night.

There is so much going on in my life right now, I barely have time to just sit and write. It's that time in our life when we know retirement is right around the corner. The days are slipping by and I am trying to hold onto them with both hands but I know it is inevitable and we will be moving on. We've lived at the beach for the last twenty years. We look back over our life's and the days we thought would never end slowly pass by. I guess it time to exhale. My husband has been a firefighter for 35. That's a long time and he's not as young as he use to be. He loves his job and I can tell it is really hard for him to retire. Although I do think he silently will be relief. I am so proud of him. We are going to retire in Florida. We love Maine, the weather is just to cold for us here. So we are off to sunny Florida to join all the other snowbirds. We will sip
Pina Colada's and dance on the boardwalk, and go for the two for one dinner specials and talk for hours to all our wonderful friends, about our wonderful grandchildren. We will play the penny slots. We will sit by the pool and argue endlessly, why our condo association needs a another fountain. What else is there to do. I love my condo association. They are the best. I wouldn't trade them for anyone. But as far as my love for VINTAGE. I will always love my VINTAGE roots. I'm so excited because now I can search for Florida vintage.
